Moon square Neptune… What does this mean?

More often times than not, we astrologers use ‘astro-speak’ during client consultation. Although, I do the same, I also predicate my ‘astro-mumbo-jumbo’ with plain English and with application enabling my client to better understand how the planetary energies are currently working in their relationships, and of course, in their everyday life.

Astrologically speaking, the Moon represents our emotions and Neptune represents the supernatural, as well as Neptune rules dreams, fantasy and romance. During a Moon square Neptune, it’s likely that you will feel (feel = Moon) a sensitivity to the past, either in a positive or negative, and of course, if there is unfinished business from the past, then that old saying, “the past may come back to haunt you” is indicative of a Moon square Neptune transit.

You may dream about or perhaps simply remember things that could jolt a negative emotion or two, and possibly undermine your happiness, at least temporarily. Depending on where the Moon and Neptune is positioned in your chart, a Moon square Neptune can offer a wide range of feelings, emotions, and/or deep hidden desires. Sometimes, people can feel a tad bit confused about their lives and their decisions in life bringing about  temporary feelings of gloom and doom, possibly hysteria and downright emotional chaos.

I  generally advise (and I do take my own advice, of course 🙂 my clients to avoid unnecessary monetary transactions or legally contracting in new business initiatives as it’s quite likely that during a Moon square Neptune, emotional and mental clarity are at a low ebb, and you are unlikely able to see the big picture. Patience and tolerance is much needed now, with yourself and others, and to just ‘S L O W it A L L’ down a bit to avoid getting into sticky situations, jumping the gun, possibly overreacting due to feeling deceived or misled. This is definitely a planetary transit where being over emotional will enhance any negative effects. Try to remain calm, realizing that you are simply hitting a detour now from the general norm. In some cases, this transit may also represent suffering from confusion, gossip, backstabbing, etc. A desire to escape at least to some degree or another could be stronger now than at other times.

If you’re feeling a bit out of sorts, let’s take a look at your daily transits—-most Moon transits only last one to several days, so, that old saying about ‘this time too will pass’… is apropos. Although, it’s always nice to know—-especially if nothing has actually changed in our general everyday routine or environment ‘WHY’ we could be  feeling a bit unusual, under the weather, or out of sorts. Looking at your natal and progressed astro-chart can help determine how long you may continue to ‘feel’ this way, and together work through it safely.~
