Relationship tip of the Day:
If you want ‘love’, then give ‘love’.
Loving someone is a verb, it’s in the actions that you take to ‘show’ the other person that you love them, not just merely ‘stating that you do’. In the action of ‘giving, showing, & expressing love’, to someone, please remember that it’s not about how you perceive love, but all about how your partner, or the other person, recognizes and perceives love.

We all have a love language of our own. For some it’s words of affirmation, for others it’s acts of service, and many people recognize they are loved when their lover, or partner spends quality time with them, and then for some it’s special gifts, and finally, there are many people who recognize love in the form of physical touch, (not to be confused with sex).  When ‘the person who loves us—and whom we love’ expresses their love to us, in ‘our particular love language’, we are then able to recognize, feel satisfied and secure that we are truly loved.

Ask your partner to tell you what their primary love language is, and you also, let them know yours. Showing someone in their love language, that you love them, will alter the dynamic of your romantic relationship, in many beneficial ways.

I look forward to talking with you soon.

Blessings,
Daija
