Relationship Tip Of the Day: Relationship Rescue
Has your relationship grown stale? You may have only been in your relationship for a few short months, yet, you’re already feeling like you’ve been together for a year, or longer. Have you ever found yourself saying under your breath, geeee’ is this all there is?
If you’re both going to work, coming home, either to your own homes,
or if you’re living together, your shared domicile, and then having dinner, watching TV and then going to bed. Wow!! You do need some help, NOW!! If you’re 55 and doing this, well, Ok, maybe for a nite or two, but that same O’l Same O’l routine, actually ‘RUT’ will certainly cause a relationship to flatten out, and eventually phase out, simply due to not enough stimulation to keep both parties, actively involved in creating exciting shared adventures.
Two dates a week: One is a romantic dinner date, etc. & the other is a Action Oriented Adventure The first thing to do, is plan a ‘DATE NITE & Date Day’… let’s go slow, once a week to begin with is great! Get dressed up and go out to dinner, wine, dancing, movie, you know, a little bit of romance. gets people in the mood. Remember the courtship days of ‘can’t wait to see You’…sort of feel. If you’re truly in love, the emotions will rise to the occasion creating something magical for you both to remember, share and enjoy. The next date you set is an adventure date. This is a day or afternoon you plan an adventure, whether it’s going to the beach, flying a Kite, snorkeling, diving, boating, fishing, shopping, running a half marathon together, bike riding, just anything and everything you consider ‘fun’ together will once again get your adrenalin going, reminding you two, just how much fun you once shared together.
The passion that perhaps has been laying dormant will suddenly return, and watch the fireworks explode in the air. It’s truly an awesome experience to bring back to life—-your original attraction, each to the other. After all, real love never dies, it only grows, but it can sometimes get buried in the midst of everything that we all have to do in honoring our daily schedules & operations.
Have fun and call me, let’s talk about how you recreate your relationship.
Blessings,
Daija
