TRICK OR TREAT…
The pumpkins are strangely & interestingly carved,
sitting on doorsteps, candles flickering, the Halloween
mood is vexing. We all feel it, see it, in the thick of it…
The awesome warm fresh homey scent of pumpkin pies
…Fall is officially here!
Although most parties & adult festivities took place
last nite, today is actually ‘Halloween’ and most of you
with little ghost & goblins at home will be taking them
out for their annual Costumes in the Dark walk thru the neighborhood & park.
Kiddies so look forward to this time, as do adults,
as well, giving out oodles of candy and being entertained
by children performing in whatever way will get their ‘candy
giver’s attention. I know how much I love seeing both the children and adults in my neighborhood, laughing and having fun, as it turns into a sort of family block party—an ol’fashioned beguiling good time for all.
Wear your flashers and arm bands, make sure your kids
have them on, check out the candy making sure it’s not been
tampered with, and make it a day and nite of great family
