In Memory Of …
…those precious loved ones whom we’ve Loved & Lost
The incredible emotional pain of the sudden loss of a loved one, friend or family member, at some time or another, strikes all of us in our lives. When this happens, how do you handle it? There is no one way or ‘right way’ to deal with grief associated with human loss, emotional pain & adversity.
Yet, it is your ‘faith’ in God, that will keep you stable, in a special place of peace, prepared and able to make rational decisions, allowing you to communicate with others and to yourself, in a way that will promote healing. So ask yourself this question, from where do you find your strength to deal with what life throws at you? In whom do you place your faith? When you are faced with great emotional burden & adversity in your life, due to loss, where and to whom do you turn?
Normally I don’t talk about what is happening with me, or in my life. But today, I cannot help but talk about it—perhaps doing so will allow you to see me more clearly, more like yourself. Perhaps knowing and sharing my grief will humanize me, enabling you, my clients and readers, to know that ‘like you’ I am human and suffer all the iniquities of human nature, pain and suffering. At the same time while experiencing such, it is my absolute ‘faith’ allowing me to cling to what is most valuable to me, & that is my personal relationship with the Holy Spirit thru Jesus Christ.
My youngest brother, Tony, committed suicide this week. I am sharing my loss with you, writing about it, as my way to express my heart breaking grief, internal pain & suffering. I am here for you, today, you are a precious gift to me, & to be able to serve you in any way you need my support whether it is working thru whatever you are going thru in your life, or to focus on the changes, challenges or opportunities you have going on in your life. Allowing me to serve you during this time, allowing me to focus on your problems & pain, rather than my own is a true blessing. Thank you for allowing me to support you in your efforts to help yourself, & for allowing me to share with you, my burden now, & to share with you from where I draw my well of strength. It is from God as well as from You all.
To share with you from where my great faith is drawn & to show you how God’s promise to carry us thru our darkest times, never failing us, never letting us fall—is truly a gift for us all. He is in deed there for all of us, not just for some of us. God is there for all of us who make the choice to turn to Him during good times and bad, offering gratitude during good times, and opening our hearts to His abundant mercy & grace whenever we ask for it, because we can do all things, & remain strong, in Jesus name.
