Today is my favorite day of the year! I lived in the French Quarter back in 1985, when I designated this day as my official best day of the year! It was the most beautiful October day I’d ever experienced. New Orleans is awesome in the fall as is just about every geographical location in the US. It’s a beautiful, season changing, ‘life altering’ time of year where as quickly as the leaves turn and fall, you receive the gift you’ve been waiting for or the answer to a specific prayer.
Today’s influences disallows you to move in a straight line. You are likely to be pulled away, interrupted, & even challenged with communication that doesn’t necessarily promote smooth sailing. You could possibly lose sight of your goal today. The ability to focus on task or topic will be fleeting at best and possibly maddening, depending on your tolerance level for constant interruptions. Rather than becoming upset or feeling over burdened, take this chance to take a break with each interruption. Remember that whatever you don’t get done today, isn’t going to be the end of the world, and for most of these ‘little things’ it really doesn’t matter anyway, personally or professionally. Whatever is bothering you, or happens to suddenly become a burden to you, just decide to keep your smile, and your wits about you, and choose to think about it TOMORROW! ; )
