Forgiveness is Yours

Greetings – Sunday – September 13th, 2009
Are you curled up in a fetus position due to the events of last nite? Are your insecurities nearly overwhelming this morning. Are you upset with yourself because you engaged in casual sex—-on a first date—-albeit that was not your intention? Did you have your first “One Nite Stand’, and feel totally guilty about it? Do you feel guilty about anything that is going on in your life right now? If so… “STOP” … now. Guilt is one of the Seven Deadly Sins!

YOU ARE FORGIVEN, first and foremost—-therefore, stop beating yourself up! Ask
forgiveness, it is yours to apply to those open wounds. Even now prior to asking, you are forgiven by recognizing & accepting “The Cross”. Yet, the application (from a human perspective) is difficult to accept & apply when ‘we are feeling bad about ourselves or our behavior’. And of course, although we ask and we are forgiven, we still suffer the consequences of our actions. For example, the budding romance/relationship that had begun where you were still in that discovery stage & desired to continue to remain in awe of, and in a heated, seductive, passionate style, with your someone special —- is now history. You are in new territory, a place where the only thing left to intimately explore is ‘more of the same’.  There is not that ‘got to have you now intensity that led up to the events of last nite’. Sure, you will desire to have and experience more of the same, if it was everything and all that you expected, however, the paradigm is changed. The relational dynamic has changed, and you are both now in a different place. And the worst part about it is that ‘now’ (although last nite was great) you probably don’t have a plan on ‘how to move forward’ in a way that satisfies your emotional needs. Nothing was talked about where you were going or how you’re arriving and where it’s all leading, and so…

Call me… let’s take a look together to ease your mind, your fears, frustration and guilt by talking about what happens next. There is a way to remedy last nites impulsive ‘didn’t plan to go there’ but had no will power, passion play. Let’s talk about your particular experience and with whom you danced.
