Arrogance & Selfishness is Ugly

Greetings – Tuesday, May 12th., 2009
Whew, thank goodness for a Capi Moon today where we
can thank our lucky stars for a less emotionally oriented day in
favor of some well desired self restraint, and encouragement to behave accordingly, regardless of what is going on around us. The flairs going up around us or occasional verbal attack by those whom we love, won’t necessarily bother us today.

Of course, none of us enjoy living in a way where we must ‘tip-toe’ around those we live with, but you know the type of ‘un-giving’ unforgiving individual —perhaps your spouse or partner who upon being asked to do something or ‘anything’ for you, immediately feels irritated simply because you ‘bothered’ them.  Easily termed this is called, ‘SELFISH’ to no end, and so, my question to you is ‘why bother’? Just don’t ask, that person, go find someone else vs. dealing with a 486 pound chain you’re trying to lift out  of your driveway ALONE. Yes, it is way too to much of a struggle to deal with selfish, arrogant,self-centered people like this and it’s best to look at your options. Unless you’re enjoying this constant ‘chore’ of interacting, you may consider a new life and lifestyle for yourself rather than attempting to deal with ‘this’ sort of personality day in and day out. Love? What is love? Certainly not ‘selfishness’. Think about it. And I don’t think anyone in their right mind could honestly believe that they are enjoying a constant push & pull within a close & personal, or loving relationship. That type of drama will take you down in just about every area of your life, and this type of domestic &/or friendship stress & strife will lead to break down in self esteem and cause low productivity in your daily routine, or work place.

In love & relationship, and even friendships, or close personal relationships, there is a particular amount of closeness that does take place providing a more special, considerate nature each unto the other allowing generosity and help for each other upon being asked. And if it is not there and readily available for you, then you need to find a better partner and new friends. Or prepare yourself for a life of constant communication that is worse than tugging on stale, taffy, without teeth!

Relationships, are a sort of ‘give & take’ that warrant each other a particular amount of expectation, and when those expectations are unmet, then people get hurt. Therefore, talk openly and honestly, about things, let that person next to you or your best friend know what you expect. Period. When we ask something of someone close to us, within reason,  it should be done ‘freely’ upon reasonable request, & without anger or an attempt to make the other person feel as though they were putting you out by asking you, their friend for a favor etc., meaning ‘NO GUILT’ or an attempt to manipulate. Simply accept that you are needed in a particular situation, and make yourself available if at all possible without any ifs, ands, or buts about it.

I mean seriously folks, offer a hand. Is that not what having a partner, or a best friend, and of course, family is for? To be available from time to time to lend a helping hand, and to graciously & kindly “GIVE” vs. take, or argue, or just leave you hanging?

I am on today between 9am & 1pm., pacific & then
again this evening between 7pm & 9pm., pacific.

Enjoy your day and evening.
