NASA rendering of an “earthlike planet” which scientists are studying as probable real planets which may yet be discovered in our lifetime. Will they be inhabited… and if so, what will inhabitants of those planets tell us about the endless influence of planetary energies?

We kicked off our work week on Monday with harmonic energy showing in the areas of Health, Spirituality, and New Ideas. This was a good day to take action on some new physical and spiritual health methods like an exercise class, a book discussion club, a study group at your church, etc. Uranus (New Ideas) appears twice once showing harmony, and once showing some emotional tension. What has you blocking these new ideas? Get to the root of that and get beyond it. This is a time to over-rule those comfortable feelings and move from your comfort zone to the next level in your life.

On Tuesday we see Mercury and Pluto appearing twice in the astro-energy mix, so get ready to find a way to use communication for an important breakthrough. Interesting, though, that the Moon is opposing both of those planets today which means you need to pay particular attention to the emotional tone of messages and conversations. It could be that someone feels that what is being proposed is too “restrictive”. If this is the case then use your best negotiating skills which include listening and learning from body language. This same tactic will also help in your love life today.

Mid-week brings a mixed bag of astro-energies including emotional harmony with new ideas for growth, and a feeling that something is not right with plans to move ahead on Wednesday. Regarding change, you have to work hard to get past the “comfort zones” most people prefer to live within, and make sure that the way forward is carefully planned and checked. The same is true about the sudden idealistic consideration of adding in a new ‘Zodiac’ sign? For all of you questioning this sudden acquisition—-before you decide you are a Virgo vs. A Libra—-please wait. Remember it’s the planets that are in the position they are in at the time you take your first breath that actually determines what “Sign” you are. And that will never change. So if ‘Virgo’, or Libra, Scorpio etc. is your current zodiac sign—-hold on to that thought, everything for now, remains the same. This is the same in the workplace and at home. All relationships require growth, yes, just like any plant in a garden, but it’s the right kind of growth—growth that promotes a healthy balance within the structure. So… think about how can you water, prune and garden for growth?

Thursday brings feelings of tension with thoughts you have about abundance, but harmony with boundaries in love relationships. Huh? Sometimes you can’t move forward until you review and reset the right limits with current love interests, family and colleagues. All of these cross currents can create tension unless you manage things well on the Communication front. There’s a reason why millionaires are said to have “parlayed” (meaning “to speak”, from French), their way to fortune. If there’s one skill that it all comes down to it is communication, but that also assumes that you have prayed for discernment and done the hard work on “internal communication” — understanding and dealing with your own issues, first.

What Wonders still may Come? The galaxy shown above, a type of object known as a “blazar.” Like many active galaxies, a blazar emits oppositely directed jets of particles traveling near the speed of light as matter falls into a central supermassive black hole. NASA scientists are not yet sure what it means, but one thing is certain — we are constantly influenced on earth by massive energies from the cosmos.

Astro-Weekend Update…

As the weekend rolls in, Saturday finds the Moon (Emotions) working in conjunction with both Neptune and Chiron. This makes for magical Pisces sort of day when your Spirit will carry you forward and heal some of the stress you may feel. If you have been trying to take action, but feel thwarted… relax. Let the Light of your Spirit shine today as you take a break from things. Recreation is in order as a light spirit carries the day.

Think about how much gets done in life by inspirations enjoyed in conversation. We also see a bit of stress regarding initiative — that’s ok… you can get started on bold new ideas as the week takes off.

Monday offers a rare day of quadruple conjunctions where planetary energies combine in several areas to bring about a strong start for your week. Mercury appears twice, lending its communicative energy to both the Moon and Uranus. Today you will find writing project plans, and communicating them to team members a successful effort. At home, the balanced feeling extends into family and romantic relationships. Enjoy it.

Tuesday looks good for starting new plans, and relationships. The Moon is dancing in trine with Mars — a good alignment to launch those things you may have put on hold. Pick up the phone and call that person you’ve been neglecting. Spring is here, and this is St. Paddy’s week — anything can happen now. That’s the magic that’s really all around us, and behind all that happens, at work.

There are a number of favorable signs in the heavens as we reach the end of this holiday week. The Moon is working well with both Venus and Neptune — think, “Spirit of Love.” Of course that is what the season is all about, but sometimes we forget — and it is good that the planetary energies are aligned with the right energy when we remember. Mercury (Communication), is also working in tandem with Saturn (Practicality) so that you can find the enjoyment of the holidays in a down to earth way as you work out your plans for the weekend. There’s alittle tension between the Moon and Saturn though — this can come out when you bump into your budget. We’re all in the same boat, though, and people will understand… so do what’s right for you and yours as the New Year approaches.

Earlier in the week found the Moon (Emotions) working with Pluto (Renewal) – a perfect alignment as the Christmas week began. Have you ever noticed the opportunity to reconnect with old friends during the Holidays? Of course. But the opportunity extends deeper than that — you have an opening to actually transform your relationships — to let go of the things in the past you don’t want anymore, live and celebrate totally in the now, and make the next year a dream of happiness. That’s the magic of the yuletide.

Saturday looks interesting with the Moon in “Conjunction” (two planetary energies working things out together) with the Sun, and Venus in Conjunction with Neptune. The latter Conjunction involves interplays of Love with Spirituality, and can also show a kind of zealous romantic encounter fired up by the spirit of the season. Moon and Sun, are Emotions and Personality, always a combination behind what makes things tick. When they cooperate (instead of your gut telling you one thing and your head another), this alignment can help you see thing with clarity and be efficient. No hesitation.
