Monday launched the work-week with a mixed bag of Astro-Energies. Mercury, planet of Communication, appears three times, squaring off with both the Moon (Emotions) and Uranus (New Ideas), and working in harmony with Neptune — the Spiritual planet. This sets up an interesting dynamic where you must use strength of Spirit to break through any blocks for good communication today — especially when it comes to proposals, presentations, and dialog with important people in your life. You can do this. Call on emotional strength in the areas where you are making progress (ie. resolutions for the New Year).

In this way, good Communication is essential for good Health — your own health, the health of your relationships, and the health of your business.

Wednesday brings four harmonies two blockages and one tension point to our lives via the Astro-energies. Mars, Planet of Initiation, appear twice — once in harmony with Uranus, and once squaring off with the Moon. So, this presents an opportunity to look carefully at what your emotional intelligence is telling you about some new directions in your life. Why are you blocking them? Saturn, our only planet with distinct bounding rings (as captured by NASA’s Hubble Telescope), reminds us of the harmony we achieve when in balance within our boundaries. Countries have borders. Real estate has property lines. And so too, relationships have bounds and limits to be respected, including the values and principles of your mate.

Weekend Astro-Update

The weekend dawns Saturday, with a feeling in the air of embracing abundance. We are in challenging times, & especially during the holidays, when it’s easy to feel challenged about staying on a budget, dealing with less in the IRA and 401K, you certainly don’t want to even think about borrowing from those areas. The trick is to look around you and celebrate all the abundance within our natural resources, still here, surrounding us every day. Life itself is abundant. In the US, things are still in more generously abundant than anywhere else in the world. Celebrate this in your Spirit, offer gratitude.

Tuesday finds a recurrent of boundaries as the holiday season forges ahead, & romance is looking hot for the day. What boundaries? Budgets still remain one kind of “restriction”, and in relationships, each person sets up their own “parameters.” Once you establish, accept and are able to respect these boundaries, your life goes much more smoothly, allowing you actually, more freedom. Pay special attention to your emotions, avoid  subconscious assumptions. Being presumptuous only creates mind freaks & emotional melt downs, and really how does that help you or your situation? It doesn’t!

We find the heavens are busy on Sunday, with nine celestial aspects for our consideration. Mars, planet of initiation, and Venus, planet of love appear twice in the scheme of things. A loved one ma conspire with you today to start something new, but you might get a bad feeling about it. This is because you feel better staying in your comfort zone. Not all change is for the good, but you need discern what is — both for yourself, and the sake of your relationships.

Monday starts the work-week with the Moon (emotions) showing an opportunity for transformation in your life. You know how you end a busy day with some real insights on how to proceed? This always happens just when you are closest to a breakthrough. Remember to take a break and relax so you can return to work with better focus.

Love beckons on Tuesday, as Venus plays a dual role — filling you up with the mood for romance — whoo hoo. But this is a day to do something you have enjoyed in the past… nothing new. Again, understanding emotional discord — getting to the root of it, is what’s called for now. Remember that what we see in others, is often a mirror of our own self — our projections. Use this wisdom to look in your own mirror so you can grow and move on. Full Moon energy is available to you today as you harvest what you began months earlier.

Remember that good, creative tension is what it takes to get things done.

Sunday finds the Moons emotional energies working well with Pluto — planet of Transformation. This is a sign that some of the tension you are feeling can be changed into something good. How? That’s the key question, and while the specific answer varies from person to person — there are some other clues today too. Emotional growth is being restricted by something Spiritual in nature. You can get beyond it, but you need to take some good, healthy, steps forward — have a good look in the self-help section of your favorite bookstore.

Monday users in February, as Winter cycles toward Spring. Today is a good day to talk things over and listen well, as the Moon dances in trine with Mercury. But Mercury is showing some tension with Jupiter — planet of expansion — so it is not the best day to propose new initiatives. Happy New Year! The residual effects of the Full Blue Moon Eclipse of Thursday should be felt throughout the weekend and into next week. It comes with very astute timing as we end the first decade of a new millenium — Eclipses are times to take a personal look at your personal and public life, find what must change, and proceed accordingly.  Blue Moons, happen rarely, and in conjunction with a Full Moon can bring the energy you need for transformation in your life.

On Saturday, we see the Moon playing well with Saturn, Venus in tension with Neptune, and some other stress indicators. One is between the Moon (Emotions) and Venus again — the planet of love and romance.  What can you address spiritually that will be good for your relationships with mates?  There may be something of a practical matter to discuss.  Get it out of the way early — then enjoy the rest of the holiday.
