Astro-Weekend Update…

Saturday shows a quiet day in the heavens, with only two aspects in focus. The Moon (Emotions) is in harmony with Mars (Initiative) — a good sign for getting out and going on a Spring project.  Visit that market you’ve been wanting to see.  Sign up for classes at your recreation center.  There is also some tension showing with Mercury — planet of Communication and Intelligence.  This can happen when someone has something to tell you that they fear you don’t wish to hear.  Listen with an open mind and heart.  Listening is probably the most valuable Communication skill which most people are good at ignoring.

Sunday poses interesting opportunities as the Moon squares off with Jupiter, Saturn and Uranus, but also dances in harmony with Chiron, Neptune, and Mercury, plus forms a conjunction with Venus. You may feel that there is a “push pull” going on in your life, like an “on again, off again” romance.  This is your chance to get a handle on what’s happening by showing your love through healthy communication.  Speak directly and from your heart.  That opens the Spiritual flow you need to work things out.

The week starts out with the Sun (Personality) playing a dual role — in harmony with Jupiter (Growth), and at odds with the Moon (Emotions) on Monday. There are times when you are willing to over-ride your gut instincts and proceed with a business or personal decision because you have thought about it logically.  But there’s a reason why you feel tension and hesitation — in a word, balance.  Letting your head lead in decision making over the messages your gut is signaling is not wise.  Heal this “rift” by considering both sources of intelligence — your brain, and your emotions.

Venus shows harmony with Neptune, but squares off with Saturn as Tuesday rolls in. This energy can help you love from the depth of your Spirit, when you see your mate’s true Spirit revealed.  Meanwhile, the Moon works favorably today with Jupiter, the Sun, Uranus and Saturn.  You will find your personality drawn toward bright ideas for growth in your career.  There are no limits to what you might achieve with diligence, and the proper attitude.  Make sure nothing diminishes your Spirit.

The Ways of the Universe: NASA’s Hubble Telescope and other projects continue to bring us wondrous and humbling images of far away galaxies — a colorful kaleidoscope of Light, and a mirror of the past. Most of the stars you see in the sky are indications of their light from hundreds of years ago. Energy, Light, Time all interwoven — the Communication of the Cosmos.

Astro-Weekend Update…

As the weekend begins, Saturday brings a time for some action — within bounds. Stick to your budget, but enjoy a day out.  Or, finish that project… on time and on budget.  You may be short on talk, and long on action.  Great.  Get things done — don’t let anything get in the way.  You can do it at a relaxed, weekend pace.  Remember to enjoy the day too… as you seize it.

Sunday brings a nice harmony of Venus and Mars — Male and Female energies of Love and Initiation. Celebrate that.  Take a long walk with your mate and enjoy the early Spring sunshine.  This is also a time to communicate well about plans for the future.  They don’t have to be big plans…  just dream together about the future.

Monday starts the week with some blockage in the areas of Venus, Saturn, and Uranus. Have a look at how new ideas with some practical options for your love life.  The natural harmonies today are in the areas of spirituality and health.  Emotionally there’s a good chance for progress once you embrace a new approach with those close to you.

As Tuesday rolls in we see emotional opportunities for growth via communication. Good communication is always the key to unlocking the education you need to move forward.  In order to do your part, you have to be prepared and settled emotionally, and that comes from both the heart and the spirit.  Remember to listen — to your mate and to your heart.

The Hubble telescope caught this image of two gigantic systems containing millions of stars and planets on a collision course. If our little Moon tugs and pulls the great oceans of Earth, then what affect do galaxies have on us?

The end of the week winds down on Friday with a bit of tension in the air, as the Moon (Emotions) looks uneasily at five other planets. Just remember that nothing would ever get done if everything was easy and there was no stress — the good kind of stress, where you work for what’s right and get that good feeling of satisfaction when you’re done. Saturn (Practicality and Restrictions) plays a dual role with both the Moon and Mercury — both at odds. Use this as an opportunity to examine restrictions you feel, or even have co-created… and how to work through them to get what you want.

The Weekend comes in with a balance of the Moon in three Trines (harmony) and three stressful positions. So the tug and pull of life presents itself on Saturday when you find it opportune to talk about new ideas with your mate and family, but there are some things surfacing that show stress. Good. Stress is required to get things done. Stress reveals areas where you can heal and grow. Embrace it.

Sunday brings a mixed bag of a day — celestially speaking. We find Mercury squaring off with Jupiter, and the Moon squaring off with Venus. This indicates a day when talking about forward looking plans may not set well with your mate. Meanwhile, the Moon is making nice with Saturn (practicality) and working in conjunction with Mars to make a nice practical break in order — go to a movie, enjoy a bookstore… have a nice latte as the weekend concludes.

Monday comes up with a number of emotional tension patterns in the cosmos. Good. Good? Yes, it is emotional tension, handled properly, that creates a lot of the motivation to get things done. Be careful of those around you who might be angling for their own gain. Attempt to surface emotional motivations calmly and rationally — both your colleagues and friends… and your own. Venus is showing harmony with Pluto today… so some activity in your love life can lead to a breakthrough in the understanding of your relationships.

Tuesday is looking mostly quiet — but watch the communication carefully. Mercury (Communication) is squaring off with Chiron (Health), so the best policy is to listen well, and pray for discernment. Take your time and think carefully about what you hear before responding. The Moon plays nice with both Venus and Pluto today, so follow your heart and you can enjoy a new level of satisfaction with friends and in your important relationships.
