Astro-Weekend Update…

On Saturday, Love likes restrictions. Huh? You know — the boundary thing. It might be time to give your mate some space. This can be difficult, because emotionally you may not want to do this. That’s ok. Just let your Spirit tell you what to do, because what is beset for your own growth — your health — is to do what is best for your love. This is how relationships are balanced between two individuals, and also how you balance yourself within — the yin/female and yang/male parts of your psyche. Just let these things be. When love is true there is no real distance, so let your partner have all the room they need.

Sunday finds Love uneasy with matters of the Spirit. This can come about when we are in a relationship with someone whose spiritual goals are different than ours, and Sunday is a good day to test this. Pray together. All relationships go through transformations, and those that go the distance need more than one breakthrough. But if you keep feeling something opposing you — like a certain message from your gut just when you get started — then sooner or later the time will come to examine that honestly and openly.

On Monday, Flag Day in the US, we find Venus (Love) leading one harmony and one aspect with tension. Love likes new ideas today, but they may not be good for your health. Someone close to you may ask you to do something “outside the boundaries” and which you feel is wrong. Follow your instincts in this matter. Remember that certain kinds of tension appear in your life as warning signs. Don’t over-think things… just stand on your principles and do what you know to be right.

Love fills you up to the point where you could burst on Tuesday, and this brings a renewed confidence and energy to your life. Remember not to get completely carried away, but celebrate the good fruits of life that come to you. Work with your Love in a compassionate way, and you can overcome any unhealthy restrictions in time. Then your mood, your attitude — your lifestyle — will match the splendid feelings that come with bright days in early Summer. Seize the day.  Love will lead you down the path, but you will need to put all your principles to the test.

The Moon is working well with Neptune on Monday, but squaring off with three planets: Mercury, Venus, and Uranus. So, while it’s not a good day to talk with your romantic interest about new ideas for your relationship, you might like to use the compassion you feel to just listen and understand. People don’t seem to slow-down enough to listen — really listen (not the same as waiting to speak). What you learn today, when listening with your heart will be key to future developments.

Listening on Monday, and watching on Tuesday will give you the information you need to take the next step — in the workplace, and in your love life.

Over the weekend, Venus, Mercury, and Uranus worked to help communication regarding new ideas in your Romance) — did you agree to try anything new and adventurous? On Sunday, the Moon (Emotions) squared off with Saturn (Practicality), making you feel like doing something a bit wild. Hope you enjoyed yourself.

And on Tuesday, there’s a sense that you need to play it safe, not take the lead, and wait to see what your partner will do. Listening on Monday, and watching on Tuesday will give you the information you need to take the next step — in the workplace, and in your love life. The Moon is also in opposition today with Jupiter (prosperity), tomorrow, so listen also to your own feelings. Why do you feel like the growth you want is not coming to you yet? What do you have to do to make it happen?

Wednesday may bring some answers for what you seek, since the Moon is working well with Venus, Mercury, and Uranus. Uranus brings a sense of new ideas back to the table, a bit like their influence over the past weekend. Time to discuss inventive ideas again with your loved one. But Mercury is also squaring off with Pluto, so you may not want to discuss a total transformation just yet. It’s one thing to take a few steps in the right direction (this could mean discussing marriage), but quite another to rush right out and just do it. Discuss the idea and see what happens… then you’ll have the feedback you need to make a wise and measured decision.

Greetings. As we head into the weekend, the Moon (Emotions) is a bit at odds with old Mars (Initiative), which can leave you feeling like new endeavors aren’t the best policy right now. Mercury (Communication) is also tugging with Saturn (Structure) so talking about future plans is not the best idea either. What’s that leave you with? Sit back, enjoy a cup of coffee at the bookstore… relax. It’s the weekend, and Spring is in the air. Enjoy what you have and live in the present — now, is all anyone really has.

It has been an interesting week. The Moon entered Aquarius at the start the week — a sociable influence — and it also formed a nervous aspect with Uranus (New Beginnings). This can be why you feel comfortable being social, but you’re not rushing into anything new. That’s good. Enjoy the people around you and what they mean in your career, family, and relationships. There’ll be time enough to surge ahead later.

The Sun has been working with Neptune so that the compassion in your nature can come out. While this is a good attribute, you have to apply a certain amount of logic along with the good feelings to keep your head about you in business and relationships. Mercury (Communication) also is in position to encourage speaking your mind quickly. Is that an advantage for you, or a note of caution? Both. It’s good to balance that the urge to talk about what you’re feeling with some careful forethought. Running on feelings, and speaking quickly can get you in trouble sometimes. Give important matters the time they require before moving forward.

At the close of the week (Friday) the Moon (Emotion) works with Jupiter (Growth) to bring good fortune. This gives you a feeling of freedom as the Spring weekend slides into home. At the same time, the Moon is tugging a bit with Neptune (Spirituality), and you may feel that you need to deal with some deception in your ideals. That’s ok. Learning to see the truth means accepting some disillusionment. You can find prosperity in your life and relationships when you see things as they really are.

On Wednesday, the Moon (emotions) is working favorably with Uranus (discoveries), but showing some tension with Neptune (spirituality). This can work out so that you’re into looking at new things in your career and personal life, but feeling spiritually held back from where you want to go. Is there a project or something in the past that you need to take care of first?

As we started the week, the Moon was in position to influence how you feel about taking an active role at work, and in your relationships. Your confidence is a key factor, and you can find yourself taking the initiative on a project, or leading the way on a romantic outing. Mars is in Geminii through the 4th of March, and this keeps you flexible — it’s always good to consider the input of others as you forge ahead.

The Moon today is full of good energy for new beginnings, this has a lot to do with the New Moon that occurred earlier last week. You can really “bring it” this month. What new projects do you have to start? Is it time to take a new course of action in your career — in a relationship? There was a Solar Eclipse last week too, and that is another opportunity for you to look at things anew — as they are revealed again after being hidden during the eclipse. What will you see in a new light this week?

February looks like a busy month — a time when you can get things done… even on the weekends. How do you juggle multiple projects, deadlines, and manage to keep track of it all? Does your computer help you manage your tasks, or do you simply write a list and cross things off as they are completed? This is a good time to have a system so you can double-check — it’s a bit hectic, and communications can go awry because of the Mercury Retrograde. Just make sure you communicate with yourself well — use a daytimer, journal, or simple note system.

The Sun in Aquarius (thru. the 19th) brings a thirst for learning that can translate into innovation and creativity. You should be able to take a good look at your life, home, and surroundings and see what’s ready for a little change. On Monday (Feb. 11th), the Moon and Sun favor each other in such a way that you will feel confidence in your abilities. In fact, the Moon (emotions) also works with Mars (assertion) to boost confidence — just don’t take it too far. There’s a fine line between self confidence and an ego that’s a “legend in your own mind.” You can use this influence for strength of character as you “step up” to lead at work and home.

On Tuesday (Feb. 12th), the Moon (Emotion) forms a trine with both Saturn (Practicality), and Neptune (Compassion). This brings you down to earth as you approach business matters, and makes you open to understanding and empathy with others. Since February is a month to get things done, use this to get in tune with those around you so that your “team” can forge ahead.
