Daija View: Occultations, Neptunians, & the Great Wheel…

It’s a Piscean Time — Swimming the Great Circle, to the Power of Twelve
The Great Wheel of the calendar year has turned once again to March — Happy Birthday Pisces, my “Neptunians” (Pisces is ruled by Neptune). Of course, if you’ve ever ordered and received a formal Horoscope, you can see that it, too, is layed out like a wheel with 12 “spokes” that delineate the 12 houses which hold keys to the unique and natural characteristics of your personality as well as a secret code unveiling potential strengths and weaknesses, successes and failures in your life. It is the blueprint of you! A picture taken of the sky at the moment you took your first breath. Which is why your ‘time & place of birth’ is so important to astrologers.
In Numerology, One means an Individual. Two represents Balance — Union. And Three? It brings the concept of Communication & Interaction, and of course, the Trinity. Think of the Two Fish swimming in opposite directions creating the symbol in the Zodiac sign for Pisces. Each are individual creatures — One fish by itself. Together — Two Fish — they swim in a circle, bringing balance.
And this month, the number 12 seems to be calling out our attention and focus because Pisces is the 12th sign of the Zodiac, and of course the planetary ruler of Pisces and the 12th house, is Neptune. Let’s consider exactly what all that astro jargon means. Upon looking at the 12th house, or any particular house, we’re actually looking at what it means generally, and then specifically to you. By checking on what planet is transiting, or placed in a particular ‘house position’ on the wheel, as well as the natural planetary ruler of that particular house, we can conclude what could be occuring in your life now and even futuristically. And of course nobody knows anything for certain, other than ‘God’ of course, and keep in mind, too, that regardless of your ‘chart’ and how it appears, there is nothing that gets in the way of your ‘free will’ to pursue anything and everything, you so desire, as you are the ruler of your destiny. Your chart is merely a guide to use as a too
Now about this particular 12th house issue going on right now. This year 2007, and in the 12th house, Pisces, we experience an “Occultation” (a more formal name for an eclipse — two of which occur this month), the end of Winter, and the Equinox of Spring (March 21st). And these two eclipses will bring about much significant change in your life. In all of our lives. So, let’s prepare, and prepare well.
Whew… that’s quite a number of concepts, but they are all interrelated, as we shall see. I like the alternate word for eclipse — “occultation” — since its root word (occult) means that which is hidden; all things associated with the 12th house. Of course during an eclipse, one celestial body hides another, and this month brings us both a lunar and solar eclipse. Plus, the Equinox (when the Sun is directly over the Equator) happens in March. Powerful stuff. Some advice:
- The Spring Equinox is a good time to celebrate as Winter begins turning to Spring (watch for disruptions in Communications though for a short period — the Equinox is known to disrupt Communication Satellites)
- Solar and Lunar eclipses bring breaks in patterns, disruptions, and also opportunities — a time for patience and a watchful eye
Often, Astrology itself is considered part of the “Occult” — a body of knowledge that is hidden, or about hidden mechanics behind the way things work. Most folks understand that the earth turns in a circle around the Sun. This in turn (pardon the pun) creates yet another circle… or cycle of seasons — Winter, Spring, Summer, Fall. Nothing too “occult” or ‘hidden’ here yet. When you move into Astrology, there are charts of planetary movements, the houses of the personality, and more — all laid out or ‘aspected’ in a great Wheel. And if you haven’t studied it — then its meaning and how it relates to you and your life, specifically, as well as how it relates to the natural characteristics of your personality and your personal, professional, and romantic relationships is in fact, ‘hidden’ — an occultation. Once your blueprint, or ‘natal chart’ is erected, then your personality is ‘seen’ if you will, by an astrologer. But remember that the actual meaning of occultation is something hidden… by another body.
And it’s not the guy or gal on top of you… LOL
Hmmmm… what’s or better said, ‘whose’ “hiding” all of this occult knowledge? In earlier centuries, it was the church leaders who were against allowing anyone to study astrology. That’s another story for another day. But today, anyone can look it all up, just google, astrology.
So, what about the number 12? 12 months. 12 Greek Gods. There were 12 Apostles of Jesus. There were 12 Tribes of Israel. There are 12 Days of Christmas. 12 hours in the AM, and 12 hours in the PM. Definitely some Mojo in the number, 12. There are 12 Zodiac Signs. 12 Astrological Houses. And… as we already learned, this brings us to Pisces — the 12th sign of the Zodiac. And if there’s one thing I know about you, Pisces, is that you are quite intrigued by all things “occult….hidden.” So, you might also enjoy learning briefly what Numerology can tell us about 12. 12 is composed of the number One, and the number Two. Added together, they make the number Three. In Numerology, One means an Individual. Two represents Balance — Union. And Three? So, this awesome month of March, it’s quite power packed and not only for Pisces but for each and every one of us. Enjoy the hidden cycle that has turned to bring you a solar and lunar eclipse, plus the equinox — all in the same month. In all of life, practice patience, temporance, and a tad bit of caution, of course… but make sure that you do enjoy your life while keeping your eyes open for new possibilities. . .and always just ahead, around the unseen bend of this great journey and adventure you’re on called… Life!

Now headed in the right direction, & feeling good about yourself, your choices are many. Ms/Mr ‘hottie’ you’ve been flirty with since the 1st, s/he surprises you on or about the New Moon Solar Eclipse on the 18th. Stress decreases, time to do something nice for yourself. Two eclipses rock your world this month, and especially your work schedule, your career, and especially you’re quite visible, by month’s end when everyone wants you on their team. You’re certainly in the limelight, because you’re loved by many. It’s not only about your charisma, charm, grace and style, but primarily because you’ve earned such attention by how well you’ve managed to create success and recognition for others. Your chipper attitude and more than willing to be there for anyone who asks, gets you exactly what you’ve been asking for.
